Our Team

​Pat T. Nixon, RN-BSN, CALM-CDP is the visionary, founder and Executive Director of the Windsor House and We Are One Heart Foundation, Inc a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving seniors and veterans throughout Denton and Collin counties. She is the proud mother of two amazing teenagers and a profound servant leader.

 Throughout her career, she has achieved various certifications and awards, adding value to her dedication to the senior community.  She holds designation as a Residential Assisted Living Specialist with Memory Care certification, she’s a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Certified Assisted Living Manager.  She is a proud member of the Texas Nurses Association (TNA), Texas Organization of Residential Care Homes (TORCH), and a mentee of the Small Business Association’s SCORE program.

Yolanda Isabel's background in caregiving compounded with her passion to serve makes her the perfect addition to the Windsor House Team!

I’ve always liked the idea of taking care of others. Working with the elderly at Windsor House has been an unexpected blessing!  They are the family I’ve always wanted!  It gives me comfort to know that I am a familiar face that they trust!  It gives me joy and makes me feel loved every time they smile at me!

Amerra Nixon is our Lead Caregiver, specializing in providing thoughtful and compassionate care to our residents. She has been a volunteer for We Are One Heart Foundation, Inc. for over 4 years, donating her spare time to helping senior citizens where needed. As Lead Caregiver, her focus is ensuring continuity of care for our residents.
